What happens to the details and plans you send us.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we receive what you type (project type, location, plan status, notes, name, email, phone, your role and how you heard about us) and any plan files you attach. If you call, text or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your number and what you send.
The address check tool sends the address you enter to the U.S. Census geocoder, then sends the map location it returns to public map services from CAL FIRE, Los Angeles County, the City of Los Angeles and the California Energy Commission to return a result. We do not save the addresses you check in our own records. Like any web server, our host may keep routine request logs that include the address for a short time.
We measure site visits with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use advertising cookies or identify you personally.
Why we use it
Only to review your project, answer your questions and, if you ask us to, prepare a proposal. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Who processes it
The website runs on Vercel. Form submissions and plan files are delivered to the APB team through the services we use to receive them (email and our contact system). These providers process the data only to deliver it to us.
How long we keep it
We keep project inquiries and files as long as needed to respond and for our business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your California privacy rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share it). We will not treat you differently for making a request.
